Don't start the talking...
I could talk all night, so instead I'm jotting this down, list of things to remember tomorrow, sound even more intelligent in the morning, and have more desire think/write about than anything that came before
things louisa and i talked about tonight -
bob dylan: is he allowed to be lazy *****
jared swilley: is he an asshole and why did he become one
drummer from the box elders: is his drumming style just weird in an nonimportant relavitvely easy to create kind of way or a revolutionary way
almighty defenders: a side or b side?
audience-performer relationships: what is that moment, what is the situation that allows it to happen, every circumstance and characterstic of everyone's experience and emotions. and do their lives suck beause that got to happen to them every night. the moment we strive for in our lives always they got it every night
audience-performer relationships: are the black lips justified in not trying hard because they play a show every night
the general concept of the trying-hard thing: should bands think like "do it or don't" be your best or don't tour/make albums right now OR should they put out things they know aren't great, and they didn't try to make it their best (because they rely on everyone praising it because of their earlier work and them always being a god) cough bob dylan can carry a tune and i know it
oh we have to write a review of the show together
being co authors
the fact that i'm listening to avril lavigne on louisa's computer which was part of a plan to embbarass her scrobbling but i won't tell her i was enjoying it; it reminds me of being in sixth or seventh grade (i hope sixth) and therefore i have to like it. i mean it, i love everything horrible i ever loved
i just realized how really bad this is which doesnt change how i feel about it. haa this is all joke but serious. luckily i don't have to listen to it and am going to listen to the fall and all i need to say about that, to sum things up is
I'm a bit jagged right now
In a tongue-tired, wired state
Cause sunday morning dancing
I had an awake dream
I was in the supervision department
Of a bigtown store
Security floors one to four
They had cameras in the clothes dummies.
A man came up to them
He wanted sex in the dummies eyes
Then came up the cry:
"security, mobilized!"
Meanwhile in the sticks
Proles rich, dance in cardboard pants
And i guess this goes to show
The lie dream of a casino souls scene
(And I just suppose this goes to show the lie dream of a casino soul)
