There Is No Enemy

i like 10:30 on a sunday morning for listening to the new built to spill, again. we've been through a lot of listens now, but right now is the most perfect. and i've listened to them a lot of times and other albums which i've really liked but now in time and this album is the most perfect. i feel like just the way it sounds and everything he sings and how he says it is just exactly how it should be. everything comes through like there have been many built to spill albums but this is some kind of wonderful culmination that sums it up. i don't know, i don't even know them well enough but that's just how it sounds, you can hear it. besides the obvious ones like "hindsight", every word out of his mouth is like this: hi i have so much music and life experience and can now present to you this album as a result in which i don't compromise my sound or let you down in the least bit. "takin my own advice worked out for me nice" it also couldn't be more balanced, every song is the perfect remedy for the song before like eating complimentary foods. or maybe more like inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale
